Tyler Schwartz is a multimodal filmmaker who focuses working on experimental documentaries and narratives. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BFA in Film and a minor in Mass Media. 

He uses obsolete video and celluloid to create observational, performative, and self-reflexive film and video. Tyler aims to create resourcefully, using his mind and body to portray the fundamental qualities of cinema. His work celebrates sublimity and ingenuity, with each piece striving to portray the cinematic concept of photogénie.

Themes touched upon in his films include death and loss, human connection, sexuality, growth and transformation, euphoria, suffering, and the contrast between imagination and reality.
